We added Benzalkonium Chloride to our 100% vegan castile soap. Benzalkonium chloride is used in baby wipes, contact solution, and nose sprays. We felt it was the safest, most gentle alternative for antibacterial protection. The FDA recommends .13% for protection against 99.9% of germs and bacteria. Our Antibacterial Castile is gentle, non-drying and is effective for repeated hand washing. Gentle enough for infants and fine for use on face, body, and hands.
This is an unscented all-natural soap with antibacterial and antimicrobial properties to keep you well protected against germs and bacteria. Our antibacterial soap is made with benzalkonium chloride .13% which provides antimicrobial benefits. We use the finest natural ingredients that are packed with essential vitamins and minerals to keep your skin hydrated, nourished, and smooth.
As it is free of all artificial colors, preservatives, and chemicals, it is the best for the environment and your skin. We also do not ue synthetic foaming agents that can be harsh and irritating to sensitive skin.
It is recommended that you wash your hands thoroughly for 20 seconds to ensure effectiveness against germs.
Ingredients
Unscented Antibacterial Castile Soap 99.87% Natural plant based.
ACTIVE INGREDIENT: .13% Benzalkonium Chloride
Other Ingredients: Water, Saponified oils of Sunflower Oil and Coconut Oil, Citric Acid (pH adjuster).
Saponified with Potassium Hydroxide, none remains after soap is made. Castile retains its natural glycerin which is a byproduct of saponification.

Uses: To help reduce bacteria on skin that could cause disease.
Warning: For external ue only. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse eyes thoroughly with wate. Stop using this product if irritation or rash occurs.
Keep out of reach of children. If ingested, contact poison control center.
Directions: Apply to damp skin and wash for 20 seconds. Rinse thoroughly and dry with clean towel.

Bought this for the pandemic to refill foaming hand soap dispensers. Goes a LONG way. To get it to foam I dilute it 1:1 with tap water. Can also be used straight if foaming not needed. The virus neutralizing effect is because the virus has a lipid coat and dissolves quickly. I accidentally found that it is excellent for taking grease off of hands. Only downside is that it is so slippery that you have to rinse hands a lot to get it off. The half-gallon I bought will last me forever.
